For knitting – this is where you will learn how to cast on, knit, purl and bind off as well as how to read a yarn label and a pattern. And for crochet – we get you started with a simple chain, single crochet, double crochet and half-double crochet.
Basic Skills Classes Build your confidence and strengthen your beginning skills while you learn other basic techniques such as knitting in the round, using double pointed needles, and increasing and decreasing. For crochet, you will learn working in the round, increasing and decreasing.
Intermediate and Advanced Classes Once you’re comfortable with your basic skills, you may want to expand your knowledge and refine your techniques. These classes will introduce you to new ways of applying your current knowledge to more challenging projects – you will also learn new techniques such as garment shaping and finishing.
