Skill Levels

We offer a variety of project classes designed to engage or challenge students at all skill levels, from very beginning to intermediate and advanced.  We want you to get the most out of our classes, so all of our project descriptions include pre-requisite skills.  If you don’t have some of the basics down pat, you may want to take a beginning or basic skills class before taking on a more challenging project.

Beginner Classes

If you are brand new to knitting or crochet or just need a refresher to get yourself re-engaged, these classes are for you.  For knitting – this is where you will learn how to cast on, knit, purl and bind off as well as how to read a yarn label and a pattern.  And for crochet – we get you started with a simple chain, single crochet, double crochet and half-double crochet.

Basic Skills Classes

Build your confidence and strengthen your beginning skills while you learn other basic techniques such as knitting in the round, using double pointed needles, and increasing and decreasing.  For crochet, you will learn working in the round, increasing and decreasing.

Intermediate and Advanced Classes

Once you’re comfortable with your basic skills, you may want to expand your knowledge and refine your techniques.  These classes will introduce you to new ways of applying your current knowledge to more challenging projects – you will also learn new techniques such as garment shaping and finishing.

Registration

Registration is fast and easy.  We can take your registration in person or over the phone.  All you need to do to secure your spot in a knitting or a crochet class is to pay the class fee.  We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover as well as cash and checks.

Class Materials

Once you are registered, we will provide you with a Class Information Sheet that lists all the class materials you will need as well as any class preparation instructions.  The specified yarn (or suitable equivalent) must be used for the project and purchased at 3 Kittens Needle Arts.  Allow at least 2 weeks for any special orders of yarn or other supplies.

CLASS BONUS: You will receive 10% off any yarn purchased for a project class.

Cancellation Policy

3 Kittens Needle Arts reserves the right to cancel a class if the class minimum of four students is not attained.  Class fees will be fully refunded in the form of original payment.

Student cancellations must be made at least two weeks prior to the first session to receive a FULL REFUND.  After that date, class fees are not refundable and cannot be transferred to another class.

Return Policy

Returns are accepted on non-sale, unused yarns within 30 days of the dated receipt for a full refund in form of original payment.  Returns made up to 60 days after the original purchase date are for even exchanges or store credit only.  Wound yarn is not returnable.
