Welcome to 3 Kittens Needle Arts! We are a full-service needlework store, serving customers for over 30 years. We cater to knitters, needlepointers and crocheters with over 1000 yarns, hundreds of knitting and crochet patterns, a large selection of hand-painted canvasses and needlepoint threads, buttons and other accessories to make your craft more enjoyable, and many classes to stimulate your imagination. SSK (Sip, Stitch & Knit) Night Friday, July 10 5pm - 10pm Join us for a fun-filled evening in the store working on your projects, enjoying some light refreshments (BYOB), and chatting with new friends. Whether you're a knitter, needlepointer, crocheter, embroiderer, hardanger or punch-needle enthusiast, or if you do a little of it all, you'll have a great time.

We're collecting hand-knit or hand-crocheted hats for premature babies in Minnesota. Our goal is for every preemie born during the 2nd half of 2009 to receive a hat! Please join us in this effort. Trunk Shows & Events We have a number of trunk shows coming up. As always, yarns and canvasses of the companies featured will be 15% off during the run of each trunk show. Please call in advance if you are coming for the first day of the show to make sure it has arrived! Perk Alert: 3K Club members will receive an additional 5% on canvases purchased from any of our needlepoint trunk shows.

LocationWe are conveniently located in Mendota Heights, Minnesota one mile east of Hwy 35E on the Northeast corner of the intersection of Dodd Rd and Highway 110. To get to our new location, take 35 E south from St Paul to Hwy 110. Go east on 110 to Dodd Rd (the first light after the freeway). Turn left then immediately turn right. We are in the northernmost building of the development straight ahead (The Village @ Mendota Heights). Click here for a map of the area (use the "Zoom to Street" option). We now offer a 10% discount to any guild member. This includes local guilds (Minnesota Knitters Guild, St Paul Embroiderer's Guild, etc.), national guilds (such as The Knitting Guild of America, the Crochet Guild of America, etc.) and The National Needle Arts Association.
